The Inverness Castle Experience is looking to appoint around sixty seasonal and part-time personnel prior to opening later this year.

Roles available span a variety of areas, including visitor experience, retail, catering, and operations.

Scottish Renewables has called on the Scottish Government to take a tailored approach to community benefits to ensure they deliver a lasting strategic legacy.

The company believes that local communities who host clean energy generation infrastructure should
receive tangible benefits.

An analysis of two wind farms in the Highlands demonstrated that every one pound of community benefit funding generated over four pounds in local economic value.

New estimates have also revealed that local supply-chain growth from offshore wind could be worth thirty-four billion pounds for Scotland if new projects are delivered.


The Ullapool Sea Savers have been awarded funding through the Young Gamechangers Fund.

The youth-led marine conservation group involves young people, between the ages of seven and seventeen, in hands-on action to protect their local marine environment.

All activities are free to join, ensuring that no child is excluded due to financial circumstances.

The grant will support youth workers and boat safety officers, enabling the youngsters to make their ideas happen safely and sustainably.
