Our objective is to offer residents across Wester Ross a radio station with a focus on life in our communities. We aim to bring to listeners a compelling mixture of locally relevant features, news and information along side the music that has played throughout their lives, ranging from familiar hits, to the music that they will discover as our presenters offer their own curated play lists and specialist content.
The station is staffed by volunteers from across the area, from Gairloch to Ullapool and beyond, as well as from other areas of the highlands and Islands, and anyone is free to get involved.
The station is operated as a not for profit company and registered charity with a membership which is open to not only individuals, but businesses who might find this a more cost efficient way of supporting us outside of programme sponsorship, or straight forward on-air advertising.
In a world where many local radio services no longer exist, we take pride that Wester Ross still has a local station offering the chance for people to hear what is happening in their community, and become an integral part of those broadcasts.
