Ross County's football stadium in Dingwall will go cashless and only accept card payments from 1st June…
The football club said that as the last bank in Dingwall closed in March, along with other branches which have already closed, the need for card only payments was now a necessity . It also cited the difficulty in transporting cash to the nearest branch safely.
The change will apply to payments made in the shop, ticket office and in their car park.
This weekend sees the first Wester Ross Vintage charity tractor run take place for 2026….
The vintage tractor run which is raising funds for Highland Hospice, set off from Ullapool on Thursday 30th April to head north to Durness, with stops at Kylesku Bridge and Scourie. Yesterday, the tractors were travelling east to Loch Eriboll and Tongue, before heading south and stayed overnight in Lairg. It is expected that they will return to Ullapool today via Ledmore Junction and Elphin.
All donations received are raising money for Highland Hospice in Inverness.

Inverness Caley Thistle plays its last regular season match this afternoon knowing that if Stenhousemuir wins its last match today, a draw in Caley Thistle's home game against Hamilton Academical will be sufficient to see it promoted to the Championship next season as Champions of League One.
