Stepping Stones will hold a day showcasing local charities, events and Outdoor organisations in Ullapool on the new Promenade on Shore Street. The day is being organised to promote the full range of Outdoor opportunities in the Ullapool and surrounding area, with many local organisations taking part. People of all ages and abilities are welcomed to stop by and to try something new between 11am and 3pm on Saturday.

New road traffic signs including new 40 miles per hour speed limit, warning signs and relocation of existing ones will be carried out this week between Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th June. Motorists are advised that a Stop / Go traffic management scheme will be used by the Contractor to allow the works to be caried out safely. Following this work, new path lighting and dynamic road signs will follow at a later date.

Drivers are being advised of a series of temporary road closures and traffic restrictions across
Inverness-shire to support the safe delivery of the Highland Cross 2026 event. The one-day event will take place on Saturday 20 June 2026, with traffic measures in force between 06:00 and 19:00. Key road closures and restrictions will affect areas around Glen Affric, Beauly and Drumnadrochit itself.
