The Mountain Bothies Association is looking for volunteers to join a work party at Shenavall Bothy in Wester Ross from 16th–19th April.
The iconic stone-built refuge, which is situated near the remote ‘Fisherfield Six’ Munros, has a significant issue with water ingress causing damp to penetrate the walls.
The work plan focusses on drainage improvements around the bothy and the installation of guttering to manage water ingress.
If time permits, other general maintenance work will be carried out.
Further information is available on the Mountain Bothies website.
